As a JAG, Rebecca gained substantial trial experience handling cases from investigation to final verdict as a prosecutor, defense counsel, and senior defense counsel in criminal litigation within the federal military justice system. She continues to serve as an Air Force Reservist, where she is an Appellate Defense Counsel.

Rebecca is a 2016 graduate of Texas Law at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, and was subsequently admitted to the bar in Texas. Her clinic work, coursework, and internships focused on property, administrative, energy, and environmental law, and she was an editor on the Texas Environmental Law Journal and a member of the Environmental Moot Court Team. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2023.

After law school, Rebecca worked as the General Counsel to a Texas State Representative, the Texas House Energy Resources Committee, and a select committee during the Texas 85th Legislative Session.
