Christopher’s practice focuses on resolving disputes over trusts, estates, conservatorships, and other fiduciary matters. He provides representation in every aspect of trust and estate litigation, including will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty cases, conservatorship proceedings, financial elder abuse, recovery of trust assets, removal of trustees, and cases involving the intersection between probate law and other legal issues.  Christopher’s practice also includes employment and business litigation, and disputes arising in intellectual property.

Prior to joining Fenton & Keller, Christopher was an associate with the trust and estates practice groups of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, and Hopkins & Carley. He also represented public agencies in both federal and state courts in all stages of litigation, including trial.  Christopher also served as Deputy City Attorney for the cities of Pacifica and St. Helena, and has extensive experience with the California Public Records Act.

Christopher also formerly served as a delegate and Secretary of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s delegation to the California Conference of Bar Associations, where he regularly debated and advocated for non-partisan, legislative solutions for the benefit of all Californians, and on the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving affordable housing by providing critical repairs and accessibility modifications for low-income seniors and homeowners.

While in law school, Christopher served as an Extern to the Honorable Otis D. Wright II in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and as an Intern with both the litigation and trademark law teams at NBCUniversal in Los Angeles.

Christopher has been actively involved with the Carmel Mission for several years, both as a lector and as a member of the choir.  As the son of a Vietnam War Veteran with PTSD, Christopher also enjoys volunteering to support veterans.
